I'm going to my ex-boyfriend basketball game and yes I still like him and I wanna catch his eye. (He says he still likes me) Anyways, we go to different schools and we don't see each other much so I wanna impress him while I'm there. Which outfit sounds cuter for a bball game?

Neither is absolutely better than the other. I use both. In my opinion, film is better for nature & landscapes. I like both. I enjoy both. It all depends on what I am shooting. Digital today is quite good & impressive but, in my personal opinion, it still lacks the resolution & sharpness of film. I guess this doesn't help you much. Digital is not the second coming or salvation of photography as s many say it is. It's just another way to take pictures. Instant feedback is nice indeed. I love that as much as anyone else, believe me. I just think film has more punch than digital. If you can run both, do it. See what YOU like. Then use that. Most importantly, have fun.
They are both really good trade programs. It depends on your abilities and skills somewhat. It's a little more difficult to get top wages in carpentry. Electricians that work on or around live (hot) hi voltage work tend to get higher pay, but it's a higher risk job.

Early zoom lenses for the mass-market were not as sharp and crisp as then current prime lenses and appealed mainly to amateur photographers. Professionals seldom used zoom lenses except as an occasional creative tool.
With the advent of computer-aided design and manufacturing, modern zoom lenses (the Canon "L" series comes to mind) often rival the best prime lenses. Very few professionals will be found walking around today with a bag full of prime lenses.
Modern zoom lenses can be placed in two categories: variable aperture or constant aperture. The variable aperture is more common since it less expensive to design and manufacture. The main disadvantage of the variable aperture zoom is the loss of lens speed as you zoom from its widest setting to its longest. This loss is usually between one to two stops and since a change in f-stop results in a change in shutter speed a variable aperture isn't really desirable. Its obvious that a constant aperture zoom doesn't suffer from this and is, therefore, more desirable. Unfortunately, constant aperture zooms are far more expensive.
The sole remaining advantage of the prime lens is speed. Most all manufacturers offer at least a 50mm f1.4 prime. Nikon has their 50mm and 85mm f1.4 lenses while Canon offers 24mm, 35mm and 50mm f1.4 lenses. Sony has their 50mm and 85mm f1.4 lenses. Zoom lenses bottom out at f2.8 which is a full 2 stops slower than f1.4. So for the low-light, non-flash photographer a fast prime is still the lens of choice.
The modern photographer can quite often do 99% of what they want to do with two constant aperture zoom lenses and, perhaps, a 50mm f1.4.
