what about chick lit types of books like the v club, or gossip girls series
Twilight! Amazing book very challenging and im 12 so its a very thrilling and suspenseful book! You’d LOVE it!
Have you read “Copper Sun” by Sharon Draper?
: )
you have a lot of good reads…but nowhere on there do i see twilight or harry potter or private
- Robin Hobb is a good author, amazing imagination and imagery, but a little complex. I preferred the Liveship Traders trilogy, but her others are good too. There pretty thick books, but if you like fantasy worlds she’s a good one to read.
- Gail Carson Levine is great, not complex at all but a great storyteller. She wrote one of my all time favourites Ella Enchanted (they never should have made it into a movie), and I still love it all these years later.
- K. A. Applegate, the Ever World series is good too.
I know these aren’t what you’re really looking for but they’re what I read when I was younger.
I looked up Sharon Draper on Amazon and found a link posted by another person that said it had a list of novels with strong African-American voices:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/richpub/syltguides/fullview/3FDB2UDAE34L2/ref=cm_syt_dtpa_f_1_rdssss0?pf_rd_p=253457301&pf_rd_s=sylt-center&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=0689851340&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=1FA57NSMWVK4KRH3S5WS
I found some other lists on Amazon that might be helpful:
Pope, Elizabeth Marie. The Perilous Gard: Set in the time of Queen Elizabeth about a girl who gets banished to a remote castle, falls in love, and her love is captured by fairies to be used as ransom. She goes to save him. Suspenseful, but not too dark.
Pope, Elizabeth Marie. The Sherwood Ring. A girl visits her uncle, who lives in an old mansion, which is inhabited by ghosts. As the ghosts tell their story, historical and contemporary romance intertwine.
McKinley. Beauty: A beautiful retelling of beauty and the beast.
Haddix, Margaret. Just Ella: A story about a plucky, funny, and resourceful Cinderella.
Enjoy!
Levine, Gail Carson. Ella Enchanted: You probably know. The book is much better than the movie!
McGraw, Eloise. Mara, Daughter of the Nile: A story about a girl who is forced into being a double spy and falls in love with one of her enemies.
Rinaldi, Ann. Brooklyn Rose: A girl of fifteen marries and learns what love is from her husband.
Rinaldi, Ann. Sarah’s Ground: A girl determined to prove herself applies to be the keeper of George Washington’s estate during the civil war and finds courage and love.
Alcott, Louisa. Little Women: A beautiful story about the relationships, lessons, struggles, and romance of four sisters.
Moriarty. Feeling Sorry for Celia: A private school girl and public school girl become pen pals and friends.
Bauer. Hope Was Here: A fast-paced and funny story about a girl and her aunt who start a diner, and the owner, who runs for mayor.
Haddix, Margaret. Running Out of Time: A girl has believed her whole life that she is living in the 1800s, but when an epidemic hits her town, her mother tells her it’s really 1996. She has to enter the outside world to save her town- super interesting to see her describe all the modern stuff.
Haddix. Escape from Memory: A girl discovers her own secret past in which she escaped from a society where the people were trained to remember everything.
Haddix. Turnabout: At the age of 100, an old women has the offer to be young again. She accepts and starts the de-aging process. The book is about her at her second time of being 15.
Haddix, The Shadow Children Series: Set is a society where it is illegal to have more then two children. The series is about the third and fourth children.
Tuck Everlasting. About a girl who falls in love with a boy who will live forever.
Lowry, Lois. Number the Stars: A great adventure about escaping from Nazi Germany.
Holm. I Am David: A boy escapes from a concentration camp and travels several hundred miles on foot to get home.
You have read quite a few that seem quite advanced for your age.
I suggest “Perfume” by Patrick Suskind. It is an interesting story of a murderer who has no scent but is driven by incredible passions to recreate the scent of the first young woman he murdered while trying to “collect” her essence.
I also suggest the stories of Flannery O’Connor.
I would say leeches, for their application in removing dead and necrotic tissue from wounds and promoting the formation of granulation tissue.
Probably because Uru isn’t an FPS.
I like duckys
The suckers will grow into whatever was used for rootstock. Very likely a type of crab apple.
Edit: Yes if the tree is dead you might as well replace it.
gah…..Ender’s game is nice, but it would be better if there were choices. That’s how mine was taught and if we choose something that sucked it was our own fault. And there are so many other things now a days that would capture kids attention, other than Ender’s game
Derrick, it’s great to see another one of these from you.

For the Galaxy to make it they need to overtake Chicago, Colorado and Columbus. The new system is that the top 2 teams from each division make it and then the next four teams based on points make it. Basically they need the 3 teams I mentioned above to lose all their games and the Galaxy need to win their 3 remaining games. They need to get help from other teams like DC United who play both Chicago and Columbus in the upcoming weeks. I hope this helps.
Well, there are 6 teams fighting for 3 spots. The Galaxy are currently have 30 points, but they have one more game left than the rest of the teams. The maximum points they can end up with is 39. The only real must win game is at Chicago. The minimum for them to make it is that Colorado and Columbus only win one of their 2 remaining games, and the Galaxy win 2 of their remaining 3 games (again must win at Chicago) and Chicago has to lose both games. This would leave the Galaxy tied for the 8 spot with 36 points.
This a really inspirational book, The Traveler's Gift.
When your time is up, you should see under each reply: CHOOSE A BEST ANSWER. All you have to do is press on the one that you like the best and – voila, they get 10points.
Is that what you were enquiring about?
then its a woman to woman kind of love
Well. Many studies were conducted that didn’t show HFCS to be any worse than sugar. Now this Princeton study shows the opposite. Don’t put too much weight on it; science is always full of contradicting results, and in the long term, the truth emerges.
cutting of the phone! leave me the fu*k allone ! i love those lyrics so CATCHY

Dont be afraid,it’s only a song that you can watch for nothing. You’ll be ok. .Now if you was Bob Clearmountain or George Martin, your comments might be of some artistic merit, however,I think not. I’ve never seen the point of negative comments on here,if you dont like it,look or listen to something you do like.
Hi,
First of all they call it puppy food because it is made special for puppy's.Puppy food has what puppies need to grow and for their bones and teeth and such. When a dog gets older their body's need different vit.and minerals for different parts of their body's.So if she is feeding her dog puppy food than he will not be healthy like he should be.You can go to a vet and get the information that you are seeking. And than give it to her to read.Or read it to her yourself.
